Attorney Katelyn Ellermann will be part of a VBA Environmental Law Day panel on Conservation Easement Tax Issues.  Taking place on June 12, 2018, the panel will discuss the recent spread of certain conservation easement syndications, which are IRS listed transactions.  In addition to an overview of easement syndication issues, participants will consider additional IRS guidance, the potential risks to parties who enter these transactions, and threats posed to the integrity of conservation easements both in Vermont and nationally.  Info and registration available at VT Bar CLE Calendar.
