MSK Attorneys’ immigration lawyer, Brian Sullivan, was interviewed by the local CBS affiliate (WCAX) regarding a novel idea put forward by the Chief of the Middlebury, Vermont Police. That idea was to offer patrolman positions to certain undocumented, migrant workers from Latin America. Although Attorney Sullivan applauded the motives of the Chief, he detailed the difficulties in obtaining such an outcome under existing immigration laws and the political obstacles to changing those laws.
