The Office of the Administrative Judge for Trial Courts announced the Judge assignments for the Vermont Superior Courts, with the rotation starting on September 3, 2013. In Chittenden County, Judges Grearson and Pearson will preside over Civil Division matters.

New water supply regulation
Effective January 1, 2013, sellers of property not served by a public water system will be required to disclose information about the potential health effects of contaminated water and the availability of test kits. More information can be obtained from the Vermont Department of Health website.

In re: Musty Permit, 2011-290 (June 8, 2012) MSK successfully represented a client in both the Superior Court and Supreme Court regarding an appeal of a building permit for a new home on a new subdivided lot where the appeal was primarily based upon claimed defects in the subdivision process.
